McDonald’s considers $5 meal deal to bring back customers

McDonald’s is considering the addition of a new value meal in hopes of boosting the fast-food chain’s sales.

The $5 meal would offer customers a choice of a McDouble hamburger or a McChicken, along with a four-piece Chicken McNuggets, french fries and a drink, Restaurant Business reported citing Bloomberg.

Fast-food chains nationwide have been feeling the effects of customers who no longer find their meals affordable.

McDonald’s franchisees expect the new value meal to be approved in an upcoming vote, Restaurant Business stated.
