Fincastle Vol. FD contains brush fire off Craig Creek Road

BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)– The Fincastle Volunteer Fire Department responded to a large brush fire on Craig Creek Road on Saturday, Feb. 3.

According to the fire department, crews responded to the 1100 block of Craig Creek Road.

Clogged drain line at Westover Dairy causes waste milk to spill into Lynchburg creek

Units were reportedly on the scene for three hours before the fire was controlled.

After controlling the fire, firefighters turned the scene over to forestry.
