“Ride lots” came from legendary cyclist Eddy Merckx. When a reporter asked what advice he would give to aspiring riders, Merckx replied, “Ride lots.” Today, Merckx, also known as “The Cannibal,” remains arguably the most outstanding competitive road cyclist in cycling history. And if you followed 2021’s Tour de France, you would know this to be true.
