Fino's to open a second location in Germantown. Here's everything we know.

Fino's is moving east, but don't worry: The original Midtown location at McLean and Madison will remain open.

A second location called Fino's Corner Market will open in Germantown at 7781 Farmington Blvd., Suite 101, in the space that was formerly Happy Glaze Donuts.

Chef Kelly English's Iris Restaurant Group (Restaurant Iris, The Second Line, Panta, Magnolia House, Fino's and Iris Etc.) purchased the Happy Glaze brand last year.

They will continue to sell made-to-order mini doughnuts out of Fino's Corner Market, as well as expand into a doughnut food truck. In addition to doughnuts, Fino's Corner Market will sell the majority of the Fino's menu, along with grab-and-go items created by its team and local vendors.

Fino's second location is at 7781 Farmington Blvd, Suite 101 in Germantown, TN.

“We are thrilled to start strategically looking at what the Fino’s brand can be, starting in Germantown," English said. "Sandwiches are one of my favorite food groups. Look for a robust grab-and-go offering, as well as pizza and pasta."

English, along with business partner Steve Richey, purchased Fino's in 2019. The restaurant had been a Midtown staple since 1990. Todd English, Kelly's brother, has overseen Fino's since the purchase, and will be running the new Germantown location.

"With the purchase of Happy Glaze, and the Fino's expansion, our team is now able to offer a much wider range of options to better fit the needs of our ever-growing and changing city," English said. "COVID and online ordering changed dining forever, and we are thrilled to be more laser focused on meeting those changes with great options in all of our dining locations.”

The new deli and market are currently under renovation.

Happy Glaze is currently still open in the space, and it will be a few more weeks before they start serving Fino's products.
