Fire breaks out in closed down Arlington County hotel

ARLINGTON COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Arlington Fire and EMS said in a post that a structure fire broke out Wednesday night in a former hotel building.

Multiple jurisdictions respond to Loudoun County building fire that caused $607K in damages

The fire started inside the fourth floor of Key Bridge Marriott, located in the 1400 block of Langston Blvd., which was shut down years ago. The building was undergoing redevelopments into three new residential buildings.

As of 9 p.m., the fire was put out and crews are working on ventilating the building and doing secondary searches.

No injuries were reported. The Office of the Fire Marshal will be investigating the cause of the fire.
