A fire chief in central Colorado witnessed a beautiful sight at the crack of dawn, video posted on Friday, December 30, shows.

Kiowa Fire Protection District in Elbert County posted video to Facebook showing a herd of antelope racing over snowy fields as the sun rises in the distance.

“If you gotta be up early for those 911 calls, at least this is your view,” they said in the post. The fire department told Storyful the footage was taken by their fire chief after completing an emergency call for a rollover auto accident. Credit: Kiowa Fire Protection District via Storyful
