Fire destroys Grand Lake yacht club
GRAND LAKE — A longtime Grand Lake marina and restaurant was destroyed on Saturday by a fire.
Arrowhead Yacht Club caught fire on Saturday afternoon. The club is located on the Duck Creek arm of Grand Lake and is known as the longest operating Yacht Club in Oklahoma and ranked in the registry of American Yacht Club reciprocity.
The club’s owners posted on a social media site that the club “is a complete loss.”
No injuries were reported.
Grand Lake boating fires contained, investigation underway
All the boats in the marina are fine, the only thing affected was the restaurant, according to the post.
The origin of the fire is under investigation.
Club members have access to the Cherokee Yacht Club.
