Anne Arundel County Fire Department said a fire gutted a home in Pasadena Wednesday afternoon, killing one person. Firefighters said they pulled one adult male victim from the home who was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said they responded to the 7900 block of Central Road off Bayside Beach Road in Pasadena around 1:15 p.m. Crews discovered smoke and flames engulfing a single-family home.
