Thirteen people, including 11 children, were displaced from their Lehigh Acres home Saturday afternoon after a fire hit the structure.

Units from the Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District responded to the structure fire caused by a dryer in the 2500 block of 39th St. West around 3:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported and further details were unavailable.

The Florida Gulf Coast to Heartland Chapter reported it was helping to coordinate emergency aid for the thirteen people affected by the fire in the Harris neighborhood.
