The event already is generating excitement as a first-of-its-kind in Beaver County, Carol Testa of Everest Events Group said.

As a Beaver County resident, Testa believed the first Fire & Ice belonged in the county.

"Beaver County needs more exciting new events to bring people into the county," she said. "And New Brighton is such a super quaint town, like something out of a Hallmark movie."

New Brighton already is the site of the county's first holiday pop-up bar, Jay's Jingle Juke-joint.
