5:25 p.m. UPDATE

The forward progress of the Vista Fire was stopped at 5:22 p.m., the incident commander reported to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

The California Highway Patrol reported there was a house on fire at 4:51 p.m. on its incident information page.

ORIGINAL STORY

Firefighters are working a vegetation fire in Jones Valley that has grown to 3 acres in size and is threatening structures.

The fire was reported at 4:53 p.m. in the area of the 14000 block of Valley Vista Court near Backbone Road, north of Bella Vista, according to dispatch.

Crews on seen requested additional aid. An air tanker is en route to the scene.
