Fire at Kremenchuk industrial plant caused by Russian missiles put out by over 150 firefighters
Rescuers have finished extinguishing a fire at an industrial facility in the Kremenchuk district, which occurred because of a strike by two Iskander missiles overnight, the head of the Poltava Oblast Military Administration Filip Pronin reported on Telegram on Jan. 28.
"More than 150 rescuers extinguished the fire over an area of more than 1,000 square meters," he said.
“Almost 50 units of equipment were involved. Specialists from neighboring oblasts also took part in the firefighting. We are grateful to them for their help.”

No one was injured in the fire, according to the regional governor.
Pronin reported the fire at the industrial facility due to a missile attack on the Kremenchuk district at about 9 p.m. the day before.

On the evening of Jan. 27 and in the early hours of Jan. 28, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with eight Shahed-136/131 suicide drones, two Iskander-M missiles, and three S-300 missiles. Air defense forces destroyed four attack drones.
At least three people were injured in an earlier attack in Myrnohrad, Donetsk Oblast.
