Fire Rages Through Refugee Camp in Lebanon

A fire broke out at a camp for Syrian refugees in Miniyeh, Lebanon, on December 26, Lebanese Civil Defense said.

The fire was extinguished after midnight after burning for four hours, Lebanese Civil Defense said. One person was transferred to hospital after experiencing shortness of breath, they added.

The National News Agency reported that the fire was set after a fight broke out between a local Lebanese family and refugees living at the camp.

Al Jazeera reported that 75 families lived at the camp.
