Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Biscuit Belly headed to Fort Mill

This $6 million project in Fort Mill has snagged two restaurants, including one new-to-market concept. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill and Biscuit Belly are coming to Mills Crossing, an 11,122-square-foot center that includes an outparcel.

Springland Associates is behind that venture, which sits on 1.7 acres on the west side of Interstate 77, fronting S.C. Highway 160. Springland is developed, leased, owned and managed by Clear Springs Development.

“The timing was just right to build this,” says Kerri Robusto, senior vice president for Clear Springs.

She notes there’s little available space in the market and high demand.

“There are a lot of regional and national uses that seem to want to be in the market,” she says.
