Firefighter Injured in Missouri Chemical Plant Fire

A firefighter was injured and hundreds of people were evacuated after a fire broke out at a chemical plant in eastern Missouri on April 29, local news reports said.

This footage, posted to Instagram, shows black smoke rising from the fire at Manor Chemicals plant in Affton in St Louis County.

KMOV4 reported that 13 different fire departments responded to the blaze, with 62 trucks and 200 firefighters.

St Louis Public Radio, citing fire officials, said the fire broke out at around 2.30 pm and involved a tanker truck, 10 containers and a chemical plant building.
