Firefighter trapped after partial collapse during 2-alarm fire

A partial collapse at a vacant rowhome fire trapped four firefighters Monday morning, Baltimore fire officials said. Firefighters were called just before 6 a.m. to a two-alarm fire in the 200 block of South Stricker Street to battle a fire at a three-story vacant rowhome. After the partial collapse, crews were able to immediately pull a firefighter out and three remained trapped. Crews removed piles of debris and pulled two more firefighters out within an hour. The firefighters were taken to Shock Trauma. Their conditions were not immediately known. Crews continued to work to rescue the fourth firefighter who remained trapped.
