Firefighters Battle Blaze at Collapsed Bronx Row House

FDNY firefighters fought a two-alarm fire at a residence in Bronx, New York, on Tuesday, January 18, following reports of an explosion at the location.

Video filmed by New York City Council Member Rafael Salamanca shows smoke rising from rubble at the building at 869 Fox Street.

“Currently at the scene of a massive fire due to a gas explosion in my district. All emergency first responders are on the scene and currently battling the fire,” Salamanca tweeted.
