Firefighters Battle Tamarack Fire Near Nevada-California Border
The Tamarack Fire grew to nearly 67,000 acres on Sunday, July 25, as the blaze pushed further into Nevada.
The fire, which was sparked by lightning in California, was 27 percent contained on Thursday, with authorities not expecting to have it under control until at least August 31.
