Firefighters contain commercial fire on El Paseo in Palm Desert, no injuries reported

Firefighters have contained a fire in a commercial structure on El Paseo in Palm Desert Tuesday night.

The fire was reported at 3:04 p.m. at a building located at 73-350 El Paseo, which includes the offices for Desert Luxury Estates. The fire was on the first and second floors, a Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson said.

CalFire said there were no reported injuries and the fire was contained at 4:30 p.m.

An incident commander had requested a third alarm at the scene to get additional equipment in order to safely and quickly put the fire out, CalFire added.

Several ladder trucks and engines could be seen at the scene. The Palm Springs Fire Department and Cathedral City Fire Department were also there to provide assistance.
