Firefighters respond to fire in Pottsville

Jun. 6—Firefighters were called Saturday to the scene of a multi-building fire in Pottsville.

Firefighters were dispatched for a working structure fire shortly before 11:30 p.m. at 457 E. Arch St.

Fire and smoke could be seen on the third floor of 457 E. Arch St., with smoke also billowing out of 455 and 453 E. Arch St.

Assistant Fire Chief Michael Stank said all occupants were out of the house by the time firefighters arrived and pets were in the building. No injuries were reported.

Crews had the fire mostly out after midnight.
