Firefighters respond to garage fire near Laguna Lake in SLO
The San Luis Obispo Fire Department responded to a garage fire near Laguna Lake on Sunday morning.
Units were dispatched to 1464 Oceanaire Drive at 9:25 a.m. for a residential structure on fire, according to emergency response app, PulsePoint.
The fire was contained to the garage of the house, although crews did have to pull down the ceiling in the home to stop the fire from spreading, according to San Luis Obispo City Fire Department spokesman James Blattler.
Blattler said there were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire was still being investigated. He added the cause was not suspected to be malicious.
Fire crews and PG&E were still on the scene investigating the cause of the fire and checking the status of utilities infrastructure as of 11 a.m.
