RICK RITTER: And we are following some breaking news right now. A live look at the scene in West Baltimore. Chopper 13 live over the scene of a house fire there.

NICOLE BAKER: Yeah. Some intense clouds. So let's get up to Captain Cindy Thrift, who is live for us with more. Captain Cindy.

CINDY THRIFT: Rick and Nicole, thank you. So this fire is just about one block to the South of Druid Hill Lake. We have counted at least three of these homes that have caught on fire. Baltimore City Fire Department, right now, we can see they are still on the rooftop there. They have been venting the roof to try and help this fire get extinguished.

Now, right now, we can see a lot of heavy smoke. But when we had first arrived, we saw very heavy flames in at least two of these homes of the two homes that are to the right. There were very heavy flames. They were completely engulfed in those flames. Baltimore City Fire Department though, right now, is getting a very good handle on this fire. For now, reporting live from Chopper 13, I'm Captain Cindy Thrift.
