Fire Classic American Grille celebrates 30th anniversary
Thirty and thriving. The Fireside Classic American Grille, 30 Bedford St., Middleboro, is celebrating its 30th anniversary. They’re holding a special celebration on Wednesday, Sept. 6, starting at 6 p.m. This event will be held in the Cranberry Ballroom, and local recognitions will be awarded. There will be appetizers and a dinner buffet. Proceeds will be donated to Angels in America. Tickets, which are listed as a donation, can be found on Eventbrite at https://rb.gy/l6mlr.
Taunton Sports Club restaurant closed for vacation
The restaurant at Taunton Sports Club, 33 Baker Rd. W., Taunton, is taking a little bit of a break. The club and bar will remain open, but the restaurant is closed for vacation until Sept. 19.
How to get a free cheese pizza at Tomato & Basil
Right now at Tomato & Basil, 1 Caswell St., East Taunton, if you spend $40 or more, you can get a free, small cheese pizza. That’s a little extra cheesy goodness on your plate, for free!

Pumpkin, apple crisp flavors back at Amazing Cakes
Fall is upon us, and the return of delicious fall flavors continues as well. Now at Amazing Cakes, 54 Main St., #12, Lakeville, you can indulge in some pumpkin whoopie pies and apple crisp shortbread bars. You’ll just have to get in line behind us.
