Fireworks finder: Your guide to the best Fourth festivities in North Florida, Big Bend

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this article stated that shuttle service would occur from the Koger Center to Tom Brown Park. But the city changed the shuttle service to Governor's Square Mall.

Here's where you can have a blast this Independence Day.

Celebrate America in Tom Brown Park in Tallahassee

The city of Tallahassee's Celebrate America event gets fired up at Tom Brown Park from 7-10 p.m. Monday with live music and a patriotic fireworks display. Taking the stage from 7:15-8:30 p.m. will be Sasha Tuck and the Capital Jazz Trio. Then the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra will entertain the crowd. TSO will play the national anthem at 9:45 p.m., then accompany the fireworks, finishing with the “1812 Overture” during the grand finale. There will be food trucks and activities for children. Attendees are also welcome to pack a picnic. Beer will be available for sale to those 21 and older with a valid ID. Since there is limited parking within the park, StarMetro, the city's public transportation department, will offer free shuttles to the park from Governor's Square Mall beginning at 6 p.m.

Wakulla County celebration: Sopchoppy’s 4th of July

Event is back for its 48th year with a parade, performers and more. It starts with a bang at 10 a.m. Monday as the Bill Stephens Americana Parade, named for the celebration’s founder, makes its way through downtown. Festivities after the parade take places at Myron B. Hodge City Park, on the beautiful Sopchoppy River, with music performances throughout the day, along with arts and crafts booths, food, exhibits and activities just for kids. Entertainment includes the “Take Two” music duo, Rockulla, DJ Butch, the Tobacco Rd Band and more, all kicking off at 11 a.m. The fireworks display will begin at sunset. A donation of $2 is requested.

July 4 at St. George Island

Everyone is welcome to join in the annual July 4th celebration. Stick around all day and enjoy festivities and fireworks on the beach behind the Blue Parrot Oceanfront Café about dark-thirty.

Fireworks in Gadsden County

  • The Greensboro Kiwanis Club invites you to come celebrate the nation's birthday at 7 p.m. at the Greensboro Elementary School football field. Musical entertainment with the Caliber Band and food from The Cowgirl Chuck Wagon and The Ark Food Trucks along with Tropical Paridse Shaved Ice. Fireworks show at dark. This will be the 45th year that the club has hosted fireworks for the Greensboro community.

  • For residents of East Gadsden County, a fireworks display, hosted by the Greenshade-Dogtown Volunteer Fire Department, will be held at 5F Farm – which is located between Quincy and Havana. The fireworks show will begin at around 8 p.m., but the fun will begin earlier – at 1 p.m., with vendors and live music.

  • The City of Chattahoochee will be hosting a Fourth of July Celebration on the banks of the river at Chattahoochee’s River Landing Park, located at 269 River Landing Road. The festivities will include a selection of food vendors, craft booths, activities for kids and families, live musical entertainment, and of course – fireworks. This year’s musical entertainment will be provided by Billy Dean. The festivities will start at 2 p.m., and continue through the day until the fireworks show after dark.
