Fireworks, Illuminated Globe Glow Above Tokyo Olympics Opening Ceremony
The belated 2020 Summer Olympics kicked off in Tokyo with an Opening Ceremony, complete with fireworks and more than 1,800 lit-up drones flying in the night sky on Friday, July 23.
Video shared to Instagram shows the drones forming a globe above Japan National Stadium on Friday. A fireworks show signaled the start of the 2020 Games.
