Fireworks Near Saratoga July 4th 2020 Canceled: See Nearby Events

Susan C. Schena

SARATOGA, CA — Independence Day events across the country will not look the same this year, thanks to the coronavirus. Most area cities and organizations decided to cancel their Fourth of July events, including in the South Bay, Silicon Valley and beach towns — and in Saratoga, which is taking its annual July 4th parade online.

There is a live fireworks display planned for Gilroy — but that does include viewing restrictions.

Throughout the region and in the SF Bay Area, some communities, like Saratoga, are hosting aerial flyovers, virtual fireworks and parades, decorating contests and patriotic, fun activities to do from home.

Peruse the list to see what's on tap in the region and what is canceled. Stay safe, and have a Happy Fourth of July, from Patch!
