FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Rain & storms impacting neighborhoods along I-95

The Action News Jax First Alert Weather Team is tracking rain and storms along I-95 Sunday. The heavy rainfall could bring flooding, dangerous lightning, gusty winds and small hail.

Overnight, activity dwindles with the humidity high. Cloudy skies are expected tomorrow morning with temperatures in the 60s/70s along with some shallow fog.

A surface trough is in the Gulf of Mexico and further development is unlikely. The main impacts will be heavy rain and gusty winds along the central Gulf Coast. There are 10 days until the 2022 hurricane season.
