First Christian Church's Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival celebrated meaning of Christmas

Bells tolled, people sang Christmas carols and Beefeaters marched at First Christian Church's 39th Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival on Saturday.

For the past two years, the Corpus Christi church delayed its performances due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dressed in costumes of Renaissance England, members of the church told an ancient legend about the meaning of Christmas while members of the community sat in pews and watched.

The production featured more than 180 cast members and 50 musicians. A live orchestra and choir performed the music the actors pantomimed to for three different showings Saturday.
