It's hard to believe summer is half over in Milwaukee. While it's not time for back-to-school just yet, the school year for most districts in the Milwaukee area is approaching.

Here are the start dates for each school district in the Milwaukee metro area.

Arrowhead School District

  • All students: Sept. 5

Brown Deer School District

  • 5K, 6th grade and 9th grade: Sept. 1

  • 5K through 5th grade; 7th, 8th, and 10th through 12th grades: Sept. 5

Cedarburg School District

  • All students: Sept. 1
