First Food Truck Friday receives warm welcome in Putnam Township Square

PINCKNEY – Food Truck Fridays kicked off for the season on Friday, in and around Putnam Township Square.

Locals were eager to get outside and try everything from fried foods to macaroni and cheese, pizza, barbecue and even dessert, among other choices.

There were appearances from Habz Top Dogz, Two Brothers BBQ Mac Shack, Smoke Doctor, Heaven on a RollCaptain Wood Fire Pies, Cruisin Cafe and Razzy's LLC. Harvest Kettle Corn, The Mystery Box and Rise & Grind offered dessert and beverage options.

The Putnam Township Square was filled with things to do and see, including inflatable slides for kids to play on, the Magic Dude showing off magic tricks and vendors selling wares of all kinds.

In the evening, there was entertainment from Jarrett Cogswell and MaskEra Acapella

Additional Food Truck Friday events are slated for July 15 and Aug.19.
