First injury report for Washington vs. Packers, Week 7

The Washington Football Team was back on the practice field Wednesday in preparation for the Green Bay Packers in Week 7. Washington, coming off two losses, will face a red-hot Green Bay team that has won five games in a row.

Both teams are battling injuries to key starters as the Packers were down three starters on Wednesday, while Washington had seven starters out.

You can find the full injury report for both teams below:

Washington Football Team

  • Sam Cosmi and Brandon Scherff missed practice on Wednesday. Scherff has missed the last two games, while Cosmi missed his first game in Week 6.

  • Curtis Samuel remains out, and injured reserve looks more likely each week.

  • Antonio Gibson is on the injury report each week but usually practices on Friday and plays on Sunday. He was banged up in the loss to the Chiefs.

  • Ricky Seals-Jones was a new addition to the injury list this week. Seals-Jones injured his quad on Sunday.

  • Terry McLaurin didn’t practice on Wednesday, but this appears to be a precautionary move, as head coach Ron Rivera stated on Friday.

Green Bay Packers

  • Three starters were out for the Packers on Wednesday, including linebacker Preston Smith. Smith spent his first four NFL seasons with Washington and has never missed a game.

  • Cornerback Kevin King was back at practice in a limited capacity. That’s good news for the Packers.

  • Darnell Savage is in concussion protocol and his status likely won’t be known until the end of the week.

  • Center Josh Myers is expected to miss some time.
