Families and Disney lovers will have a new cruise trip option in 2024 with the Disney Treasure, revealed by Disney Cruise Line on Tuesday.
The new ship includes features from Coco, Zootopia, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Up, Encanto and more famous Disney and Pixar movies. Additionally, this is the first time the Disney Cruise Line is bringing Disney Parks-inspired elements to a ship.
“The Disney Treasure will bring brand new stories to life, blending one-of-a-kind experiences with the extraordinary entertainment, world-class dining and unparalleled hospitality that make every sailing so memorable,” a statement Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line, reads. “As we chart a course for adventure, we’re so excited for families to discover the excitement and exploration that awaits onboard the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.”

How much does the Disney Treasure cruise cost?
Most of the seven-night itineraries currently listed on the Disney Cruise Line site start at $5,000 for two guests, going over $22,000 for Concierge staterooms. The maiden voyage pricing starts at just under $12,000 for two guests, up to $34,000.
What do the rooms look like on the Disney Treasure cruise ship?
There are 1,256 staterooms onboard, which will include custom artwork and design elements from Disney and Pixar films like Aladdin, Pocahontas, Up and Encanto.
Royal suites are focused on a particular "character journey" from movies like The Lion King, The Jungle Book and Aladdin.
The design of the Tomorrow Tower Suite is inspired by EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort, which will include colourful glass elements and "molten metal" accents in its nearly 2,000 square feet of space that sleeps up to eight guests.
What attractions are on the Disney Treasure cruise?
The AquaMouse: Curse of the Golden Egg attraction will "plunge" guests through a series of Mickey Mouse animated shorts videos.
"Suspended high above the upper decks, powerful jets will propel two-person ride vehicles through 760 feet of winding tubes, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and the ship below," the information from Disney Cruise Line reads. "Onboard the Disney Treasure, AquaMouse will introduce a new storyline that follows Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse on a zany misadventure into an ancient temple for a glimpse of the legendary treasure within."
What dining options are available on the Disney Treasure cruise ship?
Plaza de Coco will be a theatrical dining experience based on the film Coco, with tables surrounding the stage. The food will be "modern twists on traditional Mexican fare."
The Disney Treasure will also include the Heihei Café, inspired by Moana, and the Jade Cricket Café, inspired by Mulan.
For a sweet treat, Jumbeaux’s Sweets will be similar to the ice cream parlour, Jumbeaux Café, from the movie Zootopia. Featuring pink, Victorian-style architecture and a sculpture of Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, there will be 20 flavours of handmade gelato, 16 flavours of ice cream and sorbet, among other sweets for guests to enjoy.
Family dining venues from the Disney Wish cruise ship, 1923 and Worlds of Marvel, will also be on the Disney Treasure.
What adult areas are on the Disney Treasure ship?
Sarabi, named after the character in The Lion King, is set to be a unique space inspired by the movie.
The two-story area will have daytime family activities and evening entertainment for adults.
Inspired by the Disney Parks Jungle Cruise attraction is the Skipper Society lounge. The space will have "natural colourways and camp-style furnishings, paired with sly tributes to the trusty, dry-witted skippers," including a monkey-shaped chandelier and a canopy of jungle foliage.
Inspired by the 1954 movie 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and the complementary attraction at Disney Parks that was in operation from 1971 to 1994, the Periscope Pub will be a casual dining establishment designed like a submarine, intended to be a space to allow guests to "unwind."
There will be a "mysterious window" along the ceiling with a view "into the depths of the uncharted oceans."
Adult food and beverage spaces will also include The Rose, Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté, all present on the Disney Wish as well.
