First Mass. $1 million Keno ticket winner claims prize
And to the victor, go the spoils.
For the first time in the history of the Commonwealth, a $1 million dollar Keno ticket has been sold and claimed. Penny Lane Nominee Trust of Lenox claimed the prize that was won on Wednesday, March 22, where the 20 winning numbers included every number from 1 through 13.

The trust, which was represented by trustee William Martin, went to the Mass Lottery headquarters in Dorchester on Thursday afternoon to collect the winnings.
The million dollar prize was won by matching the numbers 1 through 12 on the Keno ticket, which was purchased at Zenner’s Pub & Deli in Pittsfield, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery. Zenner’s Pub & Deli received a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.
One $500,000 prize and four $100,000 prizes were also won in the same March 22 game.
The odds of matching all 12 numbers in a 12-spot game are 1 in 478,261,833.
