The First Release Dates for "After We Fell" Are Revealed for Europe and the United States

The wait is almost over! The first release dates for After We Fell are here and there's some good news for US fans who have been waiting to find out.

Revealed on the official After movie page Instagram, fans in Europe and the United States can now rest easy knowing when they can expect the movie to come out. Italy, Poland, and Sweden will be the first to watch the third film in the After series when it officially launches on September 1, 2021. Several other European countries, with the exception of France and the United Kingdom, have also received release dates from September to October.

For fans in the United States, there's some good news and bad news. The new update confirms that the movie will be out in October 2021, but an official date hasn't been released yet. Viewers will have to keep waiting to find out the exact day the movie will come out, but at least they know when to expect it.

After We Fell follows the same release style as its predecessor, After We Collided, which also had a rollout of different release dates for various countries due to the ongoing coronvirus pandemic.

"I think different release dates is an issue with every film. It's something that's sort of unavoidable. It's tricky especially in today's day and age with the internet, Josephine previously told Seventeen. "You sort of have to stay off and not look at certain things if you want to see a movie. I'm really wanting to see Tenet, and I couldn't see it. I was like, 'Don't talk to me about Tenet. Don't say a word.'"

There's no word on whether or not the film will be release simultaneously on video on demand like After We Collided. However, with theaters now starting to reopen in the United States, it seems like fans who are hoping to watch it at home might have to wait a while longer.

Until then, the first two films are currently available on Netflix for the perfect back-to-back binge.
