First responders see uptick in fireworks in Sacramento area

With COVID-19 orders canceling large-scale shows and keeping people indoors, first responders are expecting an uptick in backyard fireworks shows and potential fire danger. "This year has been crazy, its been busy, everyone has been coming up in big groups," said Stephanie Landstrom, co-founder of the non-profit RLE Cares. The organization has sold legal, "safe and sane" fireworks to raise money for kids over the last ten years. "Everyone's been having to stay home, so they're all doing their own shows, so we've been selling out of everything," added Landstrom. Get the full story in the video above.
