First Shipment of Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccines Arrives in Qatar
Qatar received its first shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine on the evening of December 21, the country’s Ministry of Public Health reported.
The ministry had earlier given emergency use authorization for the vaccine ahead of its arrival in the country on Monday. The shipment arrived at Hamad International Airport in Doha aboard a Qatar Airways plane, the airport said.
