First Timothée Chalamet, Now Kris Wu Is Rocking the Harness

The Chinese-Canadian singer attended the Louis Vuitton show in Paris today.

When Timothée Chalamet hit the Golden Globes red carpet this month in a sequined harness by Louis Vuitton, fashion spectators were left shook. Had the Beautiful Boy actor ignited a new trend? At Paris Fashion Week today, a new star emerged to keep the momentum going: Kris Wu sitting front row at the French house’s Fall 2019 menswear show dressed in his own take on the daring look.

The Chinese-Canadian singer wore a silky white button-up and slipped on an asymmetrical leather harness overtop, which was embellished with tiny silver pendants. He then styled it with simple black jeans, its long hem grazing the floor, and a pair of LV-monogram high-top sneakers. As for added glitz? Wu wore a chunky silver chain around his neck, and on his right arm, he put on the sparkly glove that the label used as its official show invitation, a tribute to Michael Jackson.

All we need now is one more more risk-taking gent to buckle into the boundary-pushing accessory (Ezra Miller, we’re looking at you!), and three’s a trend.
