Prime Video has released the first full-length trailer for its upcoming musical drama series Daisy Jones & The Six, starring Peaky Blinders actor Sam Claflin and The Devil All The Time's Riley Keough.

Based on Taylor Jenkins Reid's novel of the same name, Daisy Jones & the Six features Claflin and Keough as Billy Dunne and Daisy Jones, the two charismatic leads of a fictional 1970s rock band.

The story follows the meteoric rise and eventual collapse of the titular group, whose members catapult from obscurity to fame — only to unexpectedly go their separate ways after a sold-out gig in Chicago.

Now, decades later, the band have agreed to reveal the truth about why Daisy Jones & the Six imploded at the height of their success.

The trailer teases serious tension between Billy and Daisy, who switch between arguing and flirting with each other.

Elsewhere, we also see the toll fame has on Billy's relationship with his wife Camila, who notices the chemistry between Daisy and Billy.

"It's what people want to see, it's an act. You know that," Billy tells Camila in one of the trailer's scenes.

In another tense scene, Daisy confronts Billy and asks if their relationship is just artistic or something more.

"Tell me if there's nothing going on between us," she says. "Tell me if I'm crazy."

The trailer also features the song 'Look At Us Now (Honeycomb)', one of 24 original songs the cast recorded for the series
