Fishing results: 19-pound stringer wins Xtreme Bass Series Central Florida division

Travis Clark and Robby Wright had 19.29 pounds and also had big bass with a 7.39 pounder to win the Xtreme Bass Series Central Florida Division tournament Feb. 19 at Lake Walk-in-the-Water. Trever Stephens and Kyle Brewer took second place with 18.26 pounds. Carlos Gonzalez and Brent Ginther placed third with 16.06 pounds.

Jim Folks and Jeremy Smith had 22.79 pounds to win the Xtreme Bass Series Toho Division tournament Feb. 19 at Lake Toho. Ken Lucas and Danny Lanier took second place with 20.81 pounds. Kim Hebb and John Kraine placed third with 19.70 pounds and also had big bass with an 8.20 pounder.

Roger Haslett and Dustin Vaughn had 18.14 pounds and also had big bass with a 7.54 pounder to win the Polk County Bass Assassin’s tournament Feb. 18 on Lake Juliana. Isaac Arnold took second place with 15.21 pounds. Garrett Thomas and Johnny Moon placed third place with 12.24 pounds.

Anthony Papania and Steve Swaugger had 16.11 pounds to win first place during the Wednesday Open Bass Series tournament Feb. 15 on the Winter Haven North Chain. Frank Sylvester and Woody Griffith took second place with 12.11 pounds. Bill Barlow and Jerry Davis were third with 9.00 pounds.  Bill Barlow had big bass with a 5.20 pounder.

Ken Whitlow had 17.54 pounds to win first place during the Kissimmee Bass Series One-Man tournament Feb. 18 on the Kissimmee Chain.Tracy Bray was second with 16.24 pounds. Ken Whitlow took big bass with a 6.80 pounder.

Matt Dean and Adarius Taylor had 19.05 pounds and also had big bass with a 5.09 pounder to win first place during the Fishing Misfits’ tournament Feb. 18 on Lake Hatchineha. Ed Stephens and Trevor Stephens took second place with 13.51 pounds. Doug Wilbanks and Jody Wilbanks were third with 11.92 pounds.

­­­­­­­­The next Mosaic Bass Club tournament is Feb. 25 at Lake Kissimmee out of Grape Hammock Fish Camp. The tourney is open to Mosaic employees only. Please be launched and ready to fish by safe daylight. Weigh-in is at 2 p.m. For information contact Richard Blair at 863-581-1523.

The next Central Florida Slay Nation Club Tournament is Feb. 25 on Lake Garfield out of the public ramp. The tourney is open club members only and only small vessels are allowed. The Frostproof Church of God Open Bass Tournament will be March 25 at Lake Reedy out of the county ramp. Registration is open to launch time.
