Five charged with possessing fentanyl after Enterprise drug raid, deputies say

COFFEE COUNTY, Ala (WDHN) — Five people are facing fentanyl charges after a multi-agency drug raid in Enterprise Thursday morning.

On Thursday, January 25, agents from several departments stormed a home in the 500 block of East Lee Street in Enterprise while executing a search warrant.

During the raid, agents arrested 43-year-old Shantez Walker, 22-year-old Yamiah Carey, 19-year-old Kemaris Blackmon, 27-year-old Jashun Jones, and 26-year-old Joberi Johnson.

All five are charged with unlawful possession of fentanyl, possession of marijuana in the second degree, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. They are being held in the Coffee County Jail with no bond.

Chief Deputy Micheal Hines with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office says investigators have been looking into the distribution and sale of illegal drugs in the Enterprise area for an extensive amount of time.

The raid team was comprised of investigators with the CCSO, officers from the Enterprise Police Department, agents from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, and members of the Houston County S.W.A.T team.
