Five finalists for Hudson superintendent will each get a day to visit the district

School officials said the five visits will occur over the next three weeks, with the first scheduled for Tuesday:

Candidates will each spend their designated day in the district touring the district's schools and meeting with administrators and staff. The public will also get a chance to meet each candidate during his or her visit, as Q&A sessions has been scheduled for each from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Hudson High School in Room F101.

Rounding out the day, each candidate will interview with the School Committee at 7 p.m. on their designated day, also at Hudson High in Room F101. Those sessions are also open to the public.

The School Department is seeking a replacement for Marco Rodrigues, who announced last September that he would retire in June. He has led Hudson Public Schools for five years.

The five finalists, who were voted on by a 16-member Screening Committee, were named last Thursday night during a School Committee meeting.

School officials said the interviews will be recorded, but not live-streamed. Once all candidate interviews have been completed, all recorded interviews will be made available to the public via HUD TV.

The School Committee will also share a link for feedback from the public once interviews are completed.
