Five Florida resorts earn spot on Condé Nast’s top resorts list. Here’s where, what makes them the best

For any Floridians looking for vacation ideas within their home state, you're in luck.

Condé Nast Traveler revealed their 36th annual Readers’ Choice Awards for the top resorts around the globe, with some Florida spots earning a nod.

In a staggering poll of over 525,000 readers, Condé Nast determined the top 50 resorts for travelers to visit on their next vacation. From the islands of the Maldives to the mountains of Appalachia, readers highlighted a wide range of destinations.

Orlando's luxury resorts dominated the survey, seeing three of its resorts taking up a spot on the list. Palm Beach County followed behind, nabbing the final two Florida spots.

Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa — Manalapan, Florida

Seeing the 44th spot, the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa is located on a secluded private beach in Manalapan, Florida. With "breathtaking ocean views and lush tropical gardens," Cond Nast writes that it located on the true Florida gold coast.

"Spacious accommodations offer a Capri-meets-Santorini-meets-Palm Beach vibe, and feature private balconies with hanging chairs to enjoy ocean views. The resort includes the Forbes Five-Star, award-winning 42,000 square foot Eau Spa, three Har-tru tennis courts, two pools, and outstanding child and teen clubs and programs."

JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa

The JW Marriot Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort takes the 40th spot on the reader's list. Located near the gates of Walt Disney World, guests can watch fireworks from their room windows.

According to their website, it features a resort pool with splash pad, specialty restaurants and a rooftop terrace boasting nightly views of the nearby Disney fireworks. It also boasts spa packages and services to help guests relax after a busy day exploring the theme parks.

The Ritz-Carlton Orlando

Ritz-Carlton Orlando was the 30th resort on the list, with writers applauding the massive 40,000-square-foot space's aesthetics and amenities.

Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach

The Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach grabbed the 20th title on the list, making it within the top 25 of best resorts around the world. This

Closest to the bottom of the list, the JW Marriott Orlando placed 12th on the list. It sits on 500 acres at the headwaters of the Florida Everglades.
