Five on Friday: Mother's Day weekend events filled with races, festivals, concerts

It’s Mother’s Day weekend, and the first full weekend of May is packed with events and things to do locally.

Here’s your Five on Friday weekend update for the Treasure Coast.

Indian River County

Mother of All Races 5K

  • 7:30-9 a.m. Saturday

  • Buggy Bunch Family Center, 1450 21st Street, Vero Beach

  • Run your heart out to support free local programming for moms and families in Indian River County. Awards will be given for all age categories, along with the fastest stroller division and the top three fastest “Mom & Me” runners.

  • $30 fee before May 6, then $35 fee on race day; $50 Mom & Me package includes race entries, shirt and goody bags

Friday Fest

  • Come out for the longest running street party on the Treasure Coast, filled with food vendors, food trucks, arts and crafts, fairy hair, face painting, live music and activities for all ages.

Bring the Noise 2022

  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday

  • St. Lucie County Fairgrounds, 15601 W. Midway Road, Fort Pierce

  • The family-friendly event has music, activities and over 50 show awards for cars, trucks and motorcycles, plus six different car audio competitions.

Mama Mia Mother’s Day Concert

  • 2-4 p.m. Saturday

  • Summer Crush Vineyard & Winery 4200 Johnston Road, Fort Pierce

  • Bring Mom to celebrate Mother’s Day with “Abba Salutely” as they sing the biggest hits of the band ABBA and salute other bands from the 70’s. Rain or shine. Bring your own canopy/umbrella and lawn chairs. No cooler or outside food and beverage.

Kids Fishing Tournament

  • 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday

  • Lake Annie Fill, 20680 S.W. Citrus Blvd., Indiantown

  • The third annual event has prizes for the biggest fish to win in each age bracket (5-7, 8-10, 11-15). Check in at 7-7:30 a.m. Hooks wet at 7:30 a.m. Catch and release. Register in advance.
