A seafood festival, a country music concert, a downtown block party, a wellness event and a community movie night are the top things to do this weekend.

Indian River County

Downtown Friday

  • 6-9 p.m. Friday

  • Downtown Vero Beach, 2036 14th Ave.

  • Kick off the first Downtown Friday of 2022 with live music from the Bobby Owen Band, food trucks, small business vendors and family fun.

Port St. Lucie Seafood Festival

  • 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday

  • MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Event Center, 9221 S.E. Event Center Place, Port St. Lucie

  • Enjoy a variety of seafood and tropical drinks, as well as landlubber food, while you browse craft vendors, exhibitors and artists. Younger children can have fun in the free nautical-themed “Little Fins Kids’ Zone.”

  • $7 for single-day ticket, $10 for 2-day ticket in advance; ages 12 and younger get in free with paid adult; military and first responders get $2 off with valid ID

Parmalee in Concert

  • 7-10:30 p.m. Saturday; gates open at 4 p.m.

  • County music fans can enjoy a night of live music with opening act, Andrew Morris Band, and nationally known headliner, Parmalee.

Treasure Coast community members were treated to food, fun and live music on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at the annual Port St. Lucie Seafood Festival at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Event Center in Port St. Lucie. The two-day event featured seafood vendors, craft booths and live music throughout the day. The festival continues Sunday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Martin County

Community Mindfulness & Wellness Event

  • 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday

  • Terra Fermata, 26 S.E. Sixth St., Stuart

  • The Healing House’s family-friendly event will have face painting, fairy hair, vendors and educational information on how to improve your physical and psychological well-being. Beautiful artwork will be on display by Palm City Elementary Students.

Community Movie Night

  • 5:30-8 p.m. Friday

  • New Monrovia Park, 4450 S.E. Field St., Stuart

  • Bring lawn chairs, bug spray and blankets to watch “Space Jam: A New Legacy” on the 20-foot tall LED screen. The movie starts at 6 p.m. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office BBQ Grill Team will be serving free hot dogs and hamburgers to the public while supplies last.
