Five governing boards, PSRC BOE Policy Committee scheduled to meet next week

Sep. 4—LUMBERTON — Five governing boards and the Policy Committee of the Public Schools of Robeson County Board of Education will convene next week.

The Robeson County Board of Commissioners, Pembroke Town Council, Red Springs Board of Commissioners and PSRC Board of Education's Policy Committee are scheduled to meet Tuesday.

The Robeson County Board of Commissioners will convene in person at 9 a.m. in the commissioners' meeting room on the first floor of the Robeson County Administration Building, located at 550 N. Chestnut St. in Lumberton.

Pembroke Town Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in Town Hall, located at 100 Union Chapel Road.

Red Springs' commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. The meeting can be viewed in person by members of the public or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100012460697892.

Public comments can be sent via email to Town Clerk Barbara McColl at [email protected] Public comments must contain the name and address of the person submitting them and must be submitted by 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The Policy Committee of the PSRC Board of Education will convene in a special-called meeting at 2 p.m. The meeting can be viewed by going online and clicking the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oLeLy9Uv6M.

Policy Committee members will discuss policies regarding Section 6000-Revisions.

Lumberton City Council will broadcast its Wednesday meeting live on the City of Lumberton 911 Emergency Services Facebook page. The meeting will begin at 11 a.m.

St. Pauls' commissioners will meet 7 p.m. Thursday. The meeting will take place in the commissioners' meeting room in Town Hall, located at 210 W. Blue St.
