1. Two-parter: You missed the first two games of the season (after surgery on Oct. 23 to repair a torn meniscus). You are returning (Dec. 2 against Belleview; interview was conducted a day earlier, hours after doctors cleared her). How difficult was it to watch the first two games, and how great does it feel to get back?

A: It was really tough to watch, but it was also great to see my teammates take home the W each time. I’ve been working hard, doing exercises, even working out through the Thanksgiving break because I want to play. Now, I’m so ready to go.

2. If you could have one dream partner, male or female, in a game of 2-on-2, who would it be?

A: LeBron. He's been my biggest inspiration since I was little. I feel like I reflect him. He’s so hype, yet so humble. I love the way he plays.

3. What is something coach (Stephanie) Brown says often?

A: “Urgency!”

4. What team do you consider to be North Marion’s biggest rival?

A: As far as competition, I’d say Wildwood or West Port. They have the advantage of having played together a long time, while we are pretty young and are smaller.

5. How did it feel to win a district championship last year?

A: Oh, my gosh… it felt so amazing! And to see myself on TV with the trophy — it was one of the best feelings in the world.
