Multiple homes were damaged after a fire at a Stockton mobile home park Tuesday afternoon, according to Stockton Fire Department Battalion Chief Brandon Doolan.

The fire occurred at 8600 West Lane, also known as Friendly Village of Stockton. The mobile home park is a senior living community for residents aged 55 and older.

The first report of the fire came in at about 3 p.m., Doolan said.

Doolan said that when firefighters arrived at the scene, multiple units were on fire. The fire was contained within 40 minutes.

A total of five units were damaged in the fire, Doolan said. Three of those units are now uninhabitable and the other two units suffered minor damage.

No residents or firefighters were injured, but Doolan said five residents were displaced by the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
