Five restaurants in Wiggins that are worth the drive from anywhere on the MS Coast

Everyone has their favorite restaurant in Bay St. Louis, Gulfport, Biloxi and Ocean Springs. You may even have restaurants that you love to pop in on in Pascagoula or Moss Point and Pass Christian.

A short trip up Highway 49 also has its culinary perks, too, though. Wiggins is home to several restaurants that have garnered local popularity.

We gathered a quick list of some of the best places the Big Wig has to offer. If you’re up for trying something new or passing through, these restaurants are more than worth your time.

Whistle Stop Cafe

“Excellent food and service; fried shrimp and ribs were mouth watering. But save room for desert no matter how full you are,” one Trip Advisor review said.

This iconic restaurant is also for sale, along with the Frosty Mug.
