Oct. 17—Five people were taken to hospitals after a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in the 11000 block of Valley View Drive, said Jeff LaCoe, chief of the Newton Ransom Volunteer Fire Company.
LaCoe said crews responded to the scene around 1:30 p.m. and the victims were transported to area hospitals for evaluation, including two for head injuries.
He said one vehicle veered into the other lane, leading to the crash.
