Feb. 29—Looking for something to do with your family this weekend? Check out these activities around the Valley:

1. Head to Lewisburg Children's Museum, 815 Market St., for some hands-on learning at museum's Free Admission Community Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. The event is sponsored by UPMC and UPMC Health Plan. Kids can learn about healthy eating habits, astronomy and more at the museum's interactive exhibits. 2. Help the Priestley Forsyth Memorial Library, 100 King St., Northumberland, say "Happy Birthday" to Dr. Seuss, writer of classics such as "The Cat In The Hat" and "Horton Hears A Who." The library is celebrating the beloved children's author from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Friday with fun activities and special visitors from Shikellamy High School's upcoming production of "Seussical." 3. Celebrate the start of a new month at STEAM Innovation Labs' First Friday event. This month is focusing on live activities — there will be live paintings, demonstrations and more at the facility at 363 Market St., Sunbury, from 5 to 8 p.m. While there, guests can check out all the technology available to the maker space's members. 4. Experience the magic of Rodger and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" at the Community Arts Center, 220 W. 4th St., Williamsport. The Community Theatre League, comprised of talented cast and crew from around the region, is putting on the musical at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. The musical features favorite songs such as "Impossible/It's Possible" and "In My Own Little Corner." Tickets are available online or at the door and they range from $30 to $50. There is also a chance for audiences to meet the cast before the shows each day for an additional fee of $5. More details are available at caclive.com.

5. BloomCON Hak4Kidz is being held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kehr Union on the Commonwealth University — Bloomsburg. The event is geared towards kids aged 7 to 17 and features ethical hackers, information security professionals and educators hosting free workshops to encourage kids to learn more about hacking. Attendees have a chance to win prizes. General admission is free, but there are a limited number of swag bags available for $5.
